From a small company trading in construction materials in the late 1970s, the ARAN Group has grown through acquisitions and the establishment of new companies to become a strong group of companies that has always focused on customer needs and market conditions. The group foresaw market developments and adjusted its portfolio of products and services accordingly to ensure ARAN's financial strength at all times.
The building materials trade was initially followed by the company's own construction activities and waste disposal and recycling services, which became increasingly technically sophisticated as environmental protection gained in importance. This led to the development of the technology business unit as a spin-off of waste water treatment.
